LEARN TO SKATE LESSONS

Every Sunday morning between 10 am and 11 am our fabulous Sheryl will be hosting skate lessons for beginners and those who wish to improve their skills. You will need to call us at least a day before to ensure we don’t get too busy on the day as we would like to restrict the size of groups to a manageable number for best results.
The cost of the lesson is $12 per person.
Following the lesson, if you wish to stay on for the day session to fine tune your newly acquired skills, it will only cost you an extra $6 dollars. (saving of $6.10).

Session Information

General Skaters

Come to the Skate Centre for an intense and fun filled session of roller blading and roller skating. Skate to your favorite tunes in a fun filled environment with lights and atmosphere that will take you back to the Disco days. The centre is open every day. Please check session times and holiday trading hours.

Family Day Sessions

Saturdays, Saturday Nights and Sundays are fun sessions with lots of music, lights and games every fifteen minutes open for general skaters as well as parties.

Friday Night

Friday nights thump to the sounds of the latest hits. A great hang out place for teenagers who travel from near and far for the intense experience of a night out. A “Ramps&Rails” section is integrated into the session for the boys to test themselves and show off their skills. Followed by speed skating and finally a “Dance Bracket” for those who want to dance on the middle of the Skate floor.

Saturday Night

Saturday Night session is dominated by retro music, (70’s, 80’s, 90s and only the worthy of the new stuff. Disco type atmosphere with lights and special effects. Generally frequented by the “Bigger Kids” (twenty some-things) and families. Usually the least busy session of the weekend. Come along and check out DJ Clinty at his bubbly best…

Hockey Sessions

Hockey training and games are offered once a week and are run by a professional coach, Mick Flahrerty (former player for the Australian National team). All training and games are held at the Laverton Skate Centre to make it affordable and fun. Price includes skate hire and hockey stick. Cost of session is $10 per person or $20 for two or more siblings.(We take a break during the school holidays)

Group Bookings

Group discounts and special sessions can be arranged. Schools, scouts, sports groups, fund raisers, corporate groups, church groups; infact anyone who wants a fun filled and exciting session and can get together a reasonable sized group can qualify for a special price. Discounts depend on the size of the group and session time. For more details contact Melissa at the skate centre. It is advisable to book your group session in advance so that we can best cater to your needs.
